Men's Prayer Breakfast & Church Work Day May 9
Our next Men's Prayer Breakfast is Saturday, April 19th from 7:30am to 9:30am. Men, you'll want to sign up in the overflow room. Afterwards, we'll have a Church Work day from 9:30am to Noon. All are invited for Spring cleaning and planting!

Happy Mother's Day
We want to invite all mothers to our church this Sunday! We thank the Lord for you. We want to honor all our mothers by giving them a special book entitled "Savoring God's Love". In addition all the girls and ladies of the church will have a special surprise after the service.

Special Offering for Thailand
As we have been blessed by the audio of the New Testament, there are millions of people who are almost completely illiter-ate. We are taking a special offering today for the Isan peo-ple of Thailand to have the New Testament recorded into their language and recorded for their tribe to listen to. One book of the Bible costs $948 to record.

History of the Bible Conference
Saturday and Sunday, May 17-18... Plan on being with us for an amazing weekend of learning with Dr. David Brown. He will be bringing some of the oldest English Bibles to display as well as amazing Bible artifacts. Come at 2:30pm on Saturday for the first session. Dinner will be served from 5:00-6:00 with an evening session at 6:30pm. Please sign-up for dinner in the overflow room. Cost is $3 per person.

Ladies' Quarterly Fellowship, May 30
Ladies, please come for our quarterly ladies' meeting on Friday, May 30th at 7PM. Come for an evening of fun and fellowship. Mrs. Dawn Larsen will be our special speaker. We will also be revealing prayer partners at this time. This will also serve as a Baby Shower for Jill Black. Please bring an appetizer or dessert to share.

Churchwide Evangelism & Nursing Home
Saturday, May 17th, 10am
Everyone is invited to come out for a church wide evangelism day. We will be distributing flyers, making visits to our recent visitors, and we'll also be making a trip to a local Nursing Home with hymns on the piano and a preaching service.

Backyard Bible Clubs, July 14-18
Calling for volunteers! You can get involved this year by teaching, leading singing, assisting, or hosting. Please take time to sign up in the overflow room if you are interested.

September 18-26, 2008
2008 is passing by very quickly! May is almost here, and we will need a $600 deposit by Wednesday, May, 7th for all who have signed up to journey to the Basque Region of Spain.

BookStore SALE!
Now is the time to make your bookstore purchases, because at this time all items in the bookstore are 25% off the marked price.

2009 NANC Conference
Brochures are available for next year's NANC conference. If you would like to come, the church will pay your registration fee of $275. If you register early, you can even get into a church member's home in Lafayette. Sign up sheet is on baptistery. The dates are February 8-13. Sign up will close on April 1. Please do not sign up unless you can make definite plans to come. There is a $25 penalty for refund.

Parking Lot Open for Visitors
Because we want to reserve parking for our visitors in our main parking lot, we are asking you to please use the Presbyterian parking lot. You may also use the Car Smart lot all day on Sunday.
